The longest lesson in the course is a full interior detail from start to finish. There I take a more direct approach and show the real workflow — where the time goes, where it's worth slowing down, and where you can save half an hour without losing anything. There are also deep-dive lessons on leather and on chemicals for anyone who wants the reasoning behind each step. Most of what's in this course is the kind of thing you'd otherwise pick up somewhere around your hundredth car — which is exactly why it's worth having up front. Pet hair gets its own lesson, because it earns one. Not every carpet in a car is the same, and the type you are working on decides whether a rubber brush lifts the hair out or starts pulling the carpet apart. That lesson covers why the hair grips in the first place, how the three types of car carpet behave differently, which brush and vacuum combination belongs on each, and what to tell the customer before you take a job like that on if you are doing this as a service. This is over ten years of my own experience — from running a detailing shop, and from distributing and testing professional car care products at the same time.
