Descripción
*All Revit versions from Revit 2021 to Revit 2027 are almost the same with some additional minor features for the later versions, you can follow up the course lectures using any version, from Revit 2021 up to Revit 2027. In this course students will learn how to design fire fighting systems based on NFPA Standard by Using Revit to extract the design drawings and make the tender documents. we will start this course with general introduction about the course project and material, introduction about fire fighting systems, introduction about Revit as design tool. then we will learn more about the project setup using the architectural and structural models, starting from rooms names and function, to project base point and survey point, project levels and grids and finally we will discuss life safety requirments. Once the project setup is ready, we will start with most common used fire fighting system which is the wet pipe sprinkler system, how to choose the right sprinkler type based on the space function, how to distribute sprinklers, how to create the pipes network and pipes sizing based on NFPA 13. Then we will move to stand pipe system (Fire Hose Reel Cabinet), we will get to know the three classes of this system, how to distribute them in the building, and for sure the pipe sizing for this system based on NFPA 14. then we will learn how to verfy and check the pipe sizes by elite software. we will learn how to select fire pumps from catalogues, how to read the performance curve and how to place them in fire fighting pump room and much more.
