Descripción

You will learn to prepare a Premiere project for finishing and delivery with the precision expected of a professional assistant editor. By the end of this course, you'll configure color-managed editing environments, use waveform, vectorscope, and histogram tools to flag technical image issues for the colorist. You'll reconform proxy-based sequences to full-resolution camera originals and consolidate project media for finishing. You'll also prepare the handoff packages downstream teams depend on: exporting AAF and OMF files for audio post-production, identifying VFX shots and generating pull lists, and writing turnover documentation that includes delivery manifests and issue logs. Through hands-on exercises, you'll explore the automation tools and collaborative workflows professional assistant editors use to manage complex productions, including Adobe Media Encoder watch folders for scalable encoding. You'll finish by archiving a completed project with Project Manager and writing wrap documentation, and you'll learn how the assistant editor role progresses across production types and toward an editing career.
